ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES OF WATER RESOURCES
environmental studies of water are necessary for the implementation of environmental protection measures in accordance with environmental legislation
The research covers the following aspects
Surface water quality
- We conduct water quality studies in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, marine areas, etc.
- Laboratory experts measure indicators such as pH, dissolved oxygen, chemical contaminants (nitrates, nitrites, phosphates, sulfates, ammonium nitrogen, iron), the presence of toxic substances, etc... We assess the degree of impact of anthropogenic and technogenic activities on the state of surface waters and provide recommendations for their conservation and treatment.
Quality of groundwater
- We will conduct a study of water from artesian wells, capture springs and mineral mines
- We determine the level of mineralization, chemical composition, heavy metals and other pollutants in underground sources
- Identification of potential threats to groundwater and development of measures to protect it based on the research.
Wastewater quality control
Environmental studies of water are necessary for the implementation of water protection measures in accordance with environmental legislation
Some of these measures include:
In accordance with the environmental legislation of Ukraine, organizations that use water resources as a source of water supply and/or wastewater discharge are required to monitor the relevant water bodies. This includes conducting regular environmental studies of water to determine the level of pollution, identify potential threats to the environment, and set requirements for improving water quality.
During the construction of new projects, reconstruction, re-equipment and after the implementation of the planned activities, it is necessary to conduct environmental studies of water resources in order to prevent or prevent pollution. These measures allow to assess the potential impact on water resources during construction and after the implementation of the planned activity and determine what measures should be taken to reduce the negative impact in order to comply with environmental standards
Environmental studies and monitoring of water resources help in planning and management of water resources. Research results (one-time/multi-year) provide important information on the state of water systems, their potential for use and the application of specific measures for their optimal use and conservation.
The results of environmental studies of water are the basis for the development and implementation of environmental standards and norms in the field of rational use of water resources
